I know it may not officially be ski season yet, but I can’t help but get excited for it in the upcoming months. Clearly, living down in Houston isn’t going to allow me to ski often, but I’m excited to just go even once this upcoming season out west to Colorado. There is nothing like a day of skiing followed by àpres-ski with wine by the fire, spa time, dinner in the village, bed time, and waking up to do it all over again. While I’m no double black diamond skier (heck, I’m not even a black diamond skier), there is still no rush like one flying down a mountain of powder. Of course, with skiing comes ski clothing. Yes, ski gear is nothing less than quite bulky, but you can still dress fashionably and feel fabulous. From colorful jackets to pants and beanies, there’s a lot to choose from. Whether you’re a skier, snowboarder, or just a spectator, it’s still such a fun experience being up in the mountains with snow falling in your face.
Love bright colored snowboard gear! I have a nice white, hot pink, purple and black jacket!
Great pics! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Went skiing once. What I hate most is being cold and wet. It’s not for me, but the outfits are adorable!
Skiing and snowboarding is huge here in Vancouver, not to mention we live about an hour and a half from Whistler! Love your picks especially the beanies and the bright pink and purple jacket and pants!

I have to admit, I’ve never been skiing or snow boarding, but the fact that I’ve had a lot of knee injuries leads me to think it might not be the best idea. However, a ski lounge with a fireplace and hot chocolate? That I can totally get into.
