Clinique + Happy Hearts Fund

An amazing collaboration was recently announced, and I’m extremely excited about it. If you don’t know about Happy Hearts Fund, I urge you to check out this incredible foundation and read all about what they have done and what they are continuing to do to help children. It’s truly remarkable. Clinique is a brand I’ve had a lot of love for ever since I started wearing perfume. Their perfume was one of the very first I ever wore, and their mascara is still the only mascara I’ve ever worn to date. I am constantly in awe of Petra Nemcova. From her dedication to her foundation (Happy Hearts Fund), all of her other work, and who she is as a person, she could be one of the most inspiring people I know. Given all of these reasons and more, you can see why I’m so happy about this collaboration. Petra was sweet enough to answer a few questions for me, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

from prosecco to plaid: If you could sum up this amazing collaboration between Clinique and HHF in one sentence, what would you say?

Petra Nemcova: It is the perfect partnership, as both HHF and Clinique share the same passion for education which is ingrained in the DNA of both organizations.

FPTP: What is your favorite product from the Clinique Happy Heart line and why?

PN: Clinique’s Happy Heart 30 ml fragrance because each bottle helps to rebuild schools for children forgotten after natural disasters. It brings happiness to your loved ones, many children, and yourself. That is a lot of happiness coming out of one bottle!

FPTP: Besides Happy Hearts Fund and its amazing cause, what are a few other things you’re so extremely passionate about?

PN: Traditional medicine, spirituality, philosophy, creating candles. I get joy from being with family and when I’m giving a brighter future to children.

FPTP: What is your favorite place you have ever traveled and why?

PN: Inner self! Finding your true self, as it is a place of endless discovery, possibilities, strength, love. In terms of a physical place, it would definitely be Haiti. I love the spirits of the people in Haiti and the beauty of the culture. I feel most alive there!
