You guys. This is serious. I am breaking out these days like I’m 16 years old. Why? No clue. But this is real. This is not a false alarm. Yes, I realize this is TMI, but just keeping it real, people. Keeping it real. PIMPLES SUCK. I’m 29. WTF?!
I like to keep a positive attitude no matter the situation (I try. I don’t always succeed, but I like to try.). With that being said, pimples are pimples. They come and they go. And, on the bright side, I get to flirt with different concealer options and report back to you on the best. You’re welcome.
Enter: Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer. There’s nothing like a dependable drugstore brand because it doesn’t break the bank, and that makes me a happy happy girl.
I was using NARS Creamy Concealer for a while, and I still do love it, but if I’m being real again, I like a bargain. So I went on a hunt at Walgreens (Do you ever just walk the makeup aisles at Walgreens for fun? I do! #lame). I couldn’t remember if I had heard of this Maybelline concealer from a blogger/vlogger or what, but it looked good, and I decided to try.
Well, fast forward to today, and I’m now on my second tube. I love love love it. It’s certainly not a dupe for NARS Creamy Concealer, because the consistencies are quite different (the Maybelline one is a lighter consistency, if that makes sense…it’s not as thick, which is great for the summer), but still covers every imperfection, and it stays on. Gimme more!
So, very long story short – my new favorite concealer is Maybelline Fit Me! (I use shade ‘light’ but you better believe I will be working up a tan this summer and plan on changing concealer shades stat), and it’s $7.29, and if you’re lazy, you can order it HERE.
