DIY: Bathroom Art

blank canvases

I know the bathroom isn’t the most popular place to put up artwork. For some reason, however, I’ve been wanting to spruce up our bathroom. We have some accessories that I do love, but I’ve been wanting something on the walls. Lately I’ve been inspired to make some of my own art with spray paint. I decided to use my boyfriend’s and my initials for the project. It could have been the most simple spray paint project, but our master bathroom is definitely at a whole new level now, if I do say so myself. I’ve wanted to incorporate our initials in our apartment decor for quite some time now, but didn’t want them in too prominent of a spot. The bathroom turned out to be the perfect place.

supplies: wooden letters, two colors of spray paint, two canvases, newspaper

spray paint both canvases the same color, let dry (make sure to do this outside on newspaper)

spray paint both canvases over the wooden letters using the other color, gently remove the letters and let dry

leave the edges a bit unfinished, if desired, and hang with nails

the finished product
