The Candles That Fill Our Home
In our household, we have a candle addiction. And it’s even more Matthew than it is me, believe it or not. I love candles. As soon as I get home from wherever I am, I light a candle. I instantly feel a sense of calm come over me, and I feel all warm and fuzzy inside, especially this time of year. I know I’m not alone in my obsession with candles, so I decided I’m going to share with all of you some of the candles that fill our home. Keep on scrolling!
Sadly, the label rubbed off on this one, but I know it’s a Dayna Decker candle, and you can’t go wrong with any of their scents.
Another Dayna Decker one that is nearing the end of its life. I adore this one and the noise it makes when it flickers while lit.
I know the name of this one is deceiving, but I promise my ‘Overalls’ Soy Candle does NOT, in fact, smell like overalls. It actually smells divine, and I highly recommend.
Tiny but mighty, this Votivo ‘White Ocean Sands’ candle is refreshing and sexy, and after you blow it out it smells even better.
Another small one, but NEST truly never gets it wrong, and ‘Bamboo’ is no exception.
I only typically light this one during the holidays, as it smells like delicious cookies baking in the oven. It’s sweet and scrumptious, and while I’m not usually a ‘sweet’ candle person, Be The Light New York’s Czech Holiday Cookie is a perfect one, especially this time of year.
I’m sure you’ve all seen this one, but I can’t help but love it. This Jonathan Adler gem doesn’t only smell great, but it makes a fab piece of decor, as well.
We keep this one on our kitchen counter, and it’s the ideal mix of a sweet, warm, and sultry: Kobo Vetiver and Shaved Vanilla.
Be The Light New York’s Haitian Hibiscus Breeze is another gem of a candle. It’s a mix of vetiver, pepper, orange, mandarin, and hibiscus. Pure perfection.
SO sad because this one is done (Indonesian Patchouli Peace), BUT good news is I’m going to clean it out and use it for something because all of Be The Light New York’s candles come in the prettiest vessels.
Beauty!! Luckily, it’s not just pretty, but the Missoni Marrema Candle is also DELICIOUS smelling.
I keep this one in my office, and it could be one of my most favorite candles ever: Voluspa Suede Blanc (yes, I realize I need to clean it, yikes!)
This Dayna Decker one also sits up in my home office, and while I light the Voluspa one more often, it doesn’t mean I love this one any less!
More Candles
And there you have it! Those are some of the candles that fill our home, and I love every single one of them. ANY of them would make a great gift for yourself or someone else this holiday season. As well, below I’ve included some other fabulous candles that you can also shop right here. Ok, now PLEASE tell me in the comments below which candles you love. I’m always on the hunt for new ones.
P.S. I’m also a big diffuser fan – current favorites: Lafco ‘Ski House’ and Alora ‘Uno.’
