One of my best friends came in last night and I wanted to welcome her with fresh baked goods. I decided to make the ever-so-classic cookie cutter sugar cookies using this recipe. I had purchased the most adorable cookie cutters from Michaels and pink, yellow, orange, and gold were my colors of choice. I know sugar cookies aren’t the most exciting of the bunch, but if you spend some time decorating them, they can be just as appealing as a delicious, warm chocolate chip cookie.
*I used shimmer dust and gold sprinkles to decorate the cookies.
These are so pretty–I’ve never heard of shimmer dust. I always love greeting friends and out of town company with cookies–they’re so welcoming (because really, who doesn’t love a cookie)!
