So Much Fun in ATX

Are you sick of hearing abut our girls trip to Austin yet?!! I hope not because I’m bringing you another installment of all things Austin right here, right now. Buckle up!

Speaking of buckle up…GMC was OH SO GENEROUS to offer us a brand new 2016 Acadia Denali for our trip. It couldn’t have been more perfect for our mini road trip adventure. It was SUPER comfortable, VERY big (but still easy to drive), and had some really NEAT features (my personal favorite was how the speed you were driving was projected onto the windshield!). We had a blast in the car, singing, dancing, eating…the whole shebang!

Another highlight of the trip would have to be our dinner at Sway. Oh. My. Gosh. If you read my ’24 Hours in Austin’ post a few weeks back, you already saw me rave about it, but it’s honestly THAT good. I really can’t stop talking about the beef fried rice. I can’t really put it into words, but you just need to go to Austin and eat at Sway and you’ll understand my love for it. It’s not just the fried rice, though; everything they serve is delicious and oh so fresh. And the dessert?! Megan and I devoured (literally devoured) the ice cream sundae situation. This was not your average sundae. It was over the top and decadent in the best way possible. The vibe of Sway is just so cool – dark, community tables, cool bar, an outdoor patio in a very neat part of Austin…GREAT wine and sake. I give it a 10 out of 10!

And now onto another one of my outfits that I wore while in ATX. This one was from B.Ellen Boutique, which is located in Cypress. Super cute store full of apparel, accessories, shoes, and home goodies. I decided on a shirt dress because I felt it could be worn with or without tights, booties, heels or sandals depending on the time of year, and you can accessorize it up. It’s totally comfortable and I love the subtle print. And I always love all things grey, so there’s that!
