I couldn’t figure out what to get my mom for her birthday. I wanted something thoughtful, something she would have for a long time, and something ‘homemade,’ if at all possible. I had seen this idea of ‘photo coasters’ before, but it wasn’t until I saw this post on how to make them that I decided I needed to try it. It dawned on me that it would be the perfect gift for my mom. While the project did take a bit of time to make (waiting in between steps), it was fun and totally worth it. My mom absolutely loved them.
*I used pictures of my parents, brother, sister-in-law, and Matthew, but you could just as easily make this for a friend with tons of friends pictures.
Such a cute idea! I’ve made coasters from decoupaging magazine clippings before, but never photos of myself/friends. This would be great for the holidays!
