there are few places I’d rather be than on a boat
It was so nice to get away for a whole week. Even though I still checked emails and did a little work, there is just something about getting out of town. It makes you appreciate home that much more. While we could have easily spent another week in Florida, it was so nice to come back to our home, our own bed, and lots of laundry (ok, slight sarcasm, but only slight because I do actually love folding clothes…it’s strange, I know). In the past I’ve been hesitant to book trips because I would feel my to-do lists were endless, and there was no time to go away. However, my stance on that has changed, and I think vacations are totally necessary to keep you balanced.

Those meatballs LOOK awesome, so I can only imagine how they tasted. And I totally agree–it’s really hard to get yourself to actually TAKE a vacation, but once you do, it’s totally worth it.

i agree… getaways are necessary to recharge the mind, body,etc. even if 1 or 2 nights, it is important to try and get away. peanut is adorable.
I wish I had the money for a vacation- I’m so jealous of yours! Looks like you had fun- very well deserved 🙂
Love the pictures- I am definitely in need of a vacation! I love your outlook- they really are necessary to keep balanced. Somehow, I always end up feeling guilty for taking time off OR I end up working over my break! Must remedy this. 🙂
