Favorites: Jess Bolbach

I’m so excited for the second edition of my favorites’ favorites. Today it’s all about Jess Bolbach, founder and designer of BOLBACH. Jess is an amazing person who started a line of cuffs (and more now) not too long ago. You may remember seeing her here. Her cuffs are genius, in my mind, and her new clutches are just as cute. I can’t wait to see what she comes out with for Fall and Winter. Today it’s all about the things she’s currently coveting. 

Jess Bolbach’s Thoughts…

Bra Fitting from Bradeli (28th and Madison): I highly suggest that every woman invest in a proper bra fitting.  I recently went on an adventure to do just that with one of my best friends. At a pretty affordable price, we purchased a few new bras and walked away happy customers. It is amazing what a difference the right bra makes, and the women at Bradeli are absolutely fabulous, helpful and quite knowledgeable about all things boobs. They also do free alterations! Say goodbye to any unnecessary back fat and say hello to sexy lingerie and your most perky breasts (there is a 3-step guide on achieving this).  Your clothes will look better than ever and you will feel gorgeous.

BCBG Cocktail Dress: I love dressing and accessorizing every outfit I put on. It is a part of who I am and how I express myself. I also love form-fitting cocktail dresses.  They are my go-to outfit and I just adore how they fall on the body. This cut perfectly hugs the natural shape of the body…subtly sexy yet leaves enough to the imagination. I also love how they paired it with the oversized seed bead necklace.  Such a great outfit and I am definitely going to be purchasing this.

Vasculitis Bolbach Cuff: I am a huge fan of volunteer work and helping out for causes that hit close to home for me. When I was asked by a colleague (Pam Pekerman) if I was interested in helping raise money and awareness for her foundation (Ilya Pekerman Fund Benefitting Vasculitis) I was not only honored to be a part of such an important cause, but more than excited to help out and design a line for it (20% of all proceeds are donated to the foundation).  Coincidentally, this also happened to turn out being my absolute favorite cuff of my whole line.  It goes with everything (it is also reversible) and is the perfect transition accessory from Summer to Fall…something else I am obsessing over lately.  I cannot wait to pair this cuff with leather leggings, knee high boots (heels) and a baggy cashmere sweater this Fall!

Louis Vuitton Dog Collar: Anyone who knows me, knows I am not only obsessed with fashion but also my bulldog Rosey.  She is my little wingman so to speak.  This LV collar is on my wishlist for Rosey.  Maybe a birthday gift for turning 1 in December?…we’ll see. Something about the pudgy puppy wearing Louis Vuitton just feels right…and SO me.  For now, her Neon Pink harness is what she will be rocking as it is also right on trend 😉

Anything DIY for my Apartment: This week’s project was a little DIY makeover to an ottoman I picked up from a second hand shop for $20!!!!! I decided to give it a facelift with some fresh fabric and a touch of my own style to make for the perfect coffee table in my apartment.  The best part is, I can always change the fabric if I want to update the look and feel I am going for; or even transition from season to season if I decide I want a warmer feel when it gets cold out. As an accessory guru, I take accessorizing further than just jewels and baubles. So fun and fresh and all my own….LOVE it!
