Favorites: Poor Little It Girl

One of my favorite things about being a blogger is connecting with other bloggers. I read tons and tons of different blogs each day, but I have a group of the same ones that I read pretty much every single morning before I even get out of bed. You know, those minutes between your last ‘snooze’ and when you really need to get up and you’re just lying there…that’s when I go through my blogroll. One of my favorite bloggers is Cathy Anderson of Poor Little It Girl. Her blog is all about fabulous fashion under $100. Yes, you read that correctly…all items under $100! She has great style and a fabulous blog. Over here, on from prosecco to plaid, I am starting a feature on my favorites’ favorites. From favorite bloggers to favorite designers and more, now I’m getting inside their heads finding out what their must-haves of the moment are. Without further ado, Poor Little It Girl’s favorites.

PLIG’s Thoughts…

Shoes: I work three jobs, which have me running around Atlanta all day, so heels really aren’t an option. I love flats that pack a bit of punch and these Madewell ones are just perfect and so eye-catching!

Blazer: I didn’t even know I wanted a pink blazer for fall till I found this little guy over at Topshop and now I can’t stop swooning! This would pair perfectly with a nautical navy striped top and dark skinny jeans.

Lipstick: I’ve been rocking this Maybelline lipstick for quite some time now and it’s still my go to shade no matter what I’m wearing for the day. It’s so bold and is the perfect finishing touch to any look!

‘Cupcakes and Cashmere’ (the book) by Emily Schuman: I’m pretty sure I’m the only fashion blogger on the planet that has yet to purchase this book. Put this one on my wish-list because I’m sure, being as big of a fan of her blog as I am, that the book will be just as fantastic!

Belt: Very rarely do I go a day without wearing a belt. I just love the way it defines my waist and can add texture to an otherwise boring look. Since I wear them so much, I’m constantly going through belts and in need of new ones! The best part about GAP’s belt collection is that they come in XS, which is hard to find when you’re petite like me!
