This weekend was truly the perfect combination of relaxation and productivity. I’ve come to terms with the fact that as I’m getting older I’m so much less inclined to want to stay out all night long. I honestly don’t know the last time I went out and stayed out very late. I’m more than content going to a great dinner with a fabulous group of people, drinking some delicious wine, and going home after and curling up in bed to wake up the next morning energized and ready to be productive. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m getting older (I mean I’m only 27, I don’t think I’m THAT old) or because I’m so amped up about work-related projects lately that it doesn’t bother me to wake up bright and early on a weekend morning to start working. Whatever the case may be, I can’t complain. This past weekend was perfect and I hope you had a great weekend, as well.

Ah–I want every one of those polishes! And I totally know what you mean about late nights being a thing of the past. I went out for a friend’s birthday this weekend and was ready to leave by 11pm. I guess I just can’t hang anymore!

I’m usually with you, I’d rather go to bed at a decent time than stay out all night. Except apparently for this past weekend. Now on Monday I’m paying the price for staying out too late 😉 That orange statue is so cool!

I couldn’t have said it better myself! It seems like this year, an invisible switch clicked on and staying out late is super unappealing. That’s not to say that on occasion we won’t be out until the wee hours of the morning with friends, but it’s definitely not something that we do every weekend. I love the feeling of waking up rested and ready to tackle the world on the weekend! Especially when the sun is shining and you feel like you could concur the world! Happy to hear you had a lovely weekend, all your photos are beautiful and I would never have been able to decide on a nail polish color!
