Working Out 3

The past few days I had been feeling a bit lethargic. I just kind of wanted to be lazy and going to the gym wasn’t the first thing on my list.  I know, there’s nothing wrong with this at all. Trust me, I’m a major proponent for lazy days. I think it’s fully vital to one’s well being. However, I didn’t like that I was really not in the mood to work out because I’ve been on a great fitness regimen lately.

Working Out 1

Finally, today, after wearing gym clothes the past 3 days but not actually going to the gym, I just did it. I went to the gym and had an amazing workout. I felt incredible during and after it and now I’m back on the wagon (and I’m not referring to the ‘drinking’ wagon, although I actually never got off the ‘drinking wagon’…speaking of, I’m going to pour myself a glass of vino, but I digress).

This isn’t new news. As Elle Woods said in Legally Blonde…’endorphins make you happy!’ It’s true. Endorphins endorphins endorphins. You may not want to go to the gym, but once you’re done with your workout session, you will never regret it. In fact, you will be so thankful you did it.

SO, this is me telling you to get your tush off that couch (even if just for 45 minutes) and sweat it out. Nike is pretty dead on with their slogan, because sometimes you have to just do it.

    I have to admit I HATE working out when I am in the process of working out but when it is all over I feel so good and the next few days i just feel amazing. I try to work out once a week but I had to skip last week and I already feel the difference. It might all be on my mind but first thing tomorrow I am back at Pilates class 🙂
