knock your socks off

Here’s the deal. We all either have our Fall and Winter boots ready to wear as soon as the weather allows it or we’re on the hunt for the most fabulous pair (or pairs) for the current and upcoming season. As much as I love love love boots, I’m also a sucker for the socks that go underneath (don’t make fun)! Just like you would pick out beautiful undergarments to go under your stunning dress, think of socks in the same way. Even if your boots are staying on the entire night, you still want to feel great from head to toe. And if your boots happen to come off wherever you are, your friends at the party will have fashionable socks to look at (and, at the least, a fun conversation starter). Take socks as you would take any garment or trend; wear what you’re comfortable with. If you don’t like lots of colors, stick with the neutrals and find a polka dot pair in basic colors. If prints are your thing, find an animal print or the classic argyle. If you’re all about color, then go for it. From polka dots to stripes to animal prints and florals, there are absolutely pretty socks for every personality (sans all white) to wear under those fantastic Fall boots.
