Latest Discoveries

Recently, I’ve stumbled upon some things (food, TV, apparel, etc) that I’m seriously crushing on. Rather than keep this love to myself, I figured I’d share it with all of you. So, keep on reading for my latest discoveries…

Maple and Love: If you have a sweet tooth (don’t we all?), and you especially love fresh, delicious baked goods…THIS one is for you. So, funny story (it’s honestly not that funny, but just pretend)… This past Saturday, as you know, I was apart of an event at Emerson Rose, and Houston based baker, Lisa Driver of Maple and Love, was there, as well, selling her incredible baked goods. The funny part is that I heard about Maple and Love a few months back, as it was where my friend’s birthday cake was from (which I ate and LOVED), BUT I did not put two and two together?! Either way, Lisa is a doll, and her baked goods are DIVINE (her Instagram feed is drool-worthy, too!). HIGHLY recommend.

Daydreamer: Why oh why am I just now learning about the brand Daydreamer?! Last week I popped into my friend’s brand new (a-mazing) store, Richly Clad, and ended up purchasing my new favorite tee. Said tee is from the line Daydreamer, which I had never heard of. I then decided to browse online to see what else from this line might spark my interest, and uh, EVERYTHING sparked my interest. It’s mostly graphic tees (but cool ones, not obnoxious ones circa ‘The Jersey Shore’ TV show (is that shit still on, btw??! #snookie?), and I’m in love! (You can shop some Daydreamer pieces below, including my Bob Marley one!…and some are on SALE!)

Breathless Paper Co.: If I’m being honest, I have NO clue how I found out about Breathless Paper Co., but what I do know is I’ve been following them on Instagram for a bit now, and I can’t get enough. As we all know by now, stationery is my everything so when I find great new paper product lines, the excitement I feel is not normal!!

Unfancy: This is not a brand new blog, but I will say I think I jumped on the bandwagon later than most. I believe I came across it from a post on Camille Styles about capsule wardrobes. And I was soon obsessed…with not only the idea of a capsule wardrobe (which I have yet to do, but seriously want to!), but the blog, in general. Caroline took a break from blogging for a bit, but she’s back as of the other day, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come on Unfancy this year!

Chelsea Does…: Have any of you watched Chelsea Handler’s docu-series?! I watched it last weekend and I LOOOOOOVED it. In being totally honest, I didn’t really follow Chelsea Handler nor did I understand why people loved her so much, UNTIL now. I think I saw an interview with her on Ellen not so long ago about her new Netflix series, and I was like ‘holy shit, this girl is awesome and I want to be her BFF.’ I then decided to watch ‘Chelsea Does…’ and OMG I love her even more. She’s such a bad ass who truly does whatever the fuck she wants to do and she owns it. My favorite segment of the series was ‘Drugs’ because I found it so interesting and entertaining (anyone want to go to Peru? I kid I kid…), but I also really enjoyed ‘Marriage’ and the others. I advise you to go binge watch this STAT! #netflixandchill
