Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and everyone is trying to figure out what to get their mom for this beloved holiday. If you’re like me, you’ve gotten your mom enough candles, picture frames, spa gift certificates, and perfumes to last her multiple lifetimes. This year, I decided to go a different route. I considered DIY ideas (below), which I totally love the thought of, but I ended up deciding on a photo canvas. It’s personal, decorative, and something she’ll have forever. Later today, once the TV segment I filmed last week goes live, I will share it with you, and all the details on this gift idea. For the time being, here are some great DIY ideas that are inexpensive, fun to make, and extremely thoughtful.
Andy Warhol inspired Campbell’s soup cans, for the mom who loves art
decorative mugs, for the mom who loves her morning java
manicure in a mason jar, for the mom who loves to do her nails
cookie (or cake) ingredients in a jar, for the mom who loves to bake
photo coasters, for the mom who loves pictures
Remember to check back later for my post on my ABC segment from last week about another great Mother’s Day idea!

Since Nonny Rose is no longer with us, Pauline and I are the oldest moms, so I guess I’ll receive a plant from daughter #1 (out of town) and be taken out to brunch and a movie by daughter #2. Always a fun day!!!
Amazing diy! So great:)

Mother’s Day DIYs are a great idea – I’m still struggling with what to give my mom. She’s definitely the mom who has everything. I’m torn between the DIY mugs (she’s a huge tea drinker) and the Andy Warhol soup cans. Maybe both?!
Such wonderful ideas. Love those photo coasters.
I made photo coasters this past week, and they were so easy! Such a fun, personalized gift.
