Must Haves in My Closet

Closet

I recently saw this post on Camille Styles about streamlining your wardrobe. It truly inspired me. I’ve been cleaning out my closet, as I’ve mentioned, but my goal is to really narrow down what I actually love and wear and what I’m hanging onto for some reason, but have no intention of wearing ever again. As the years have gone by, I’ve really come to know more about my style. Of course, one’s style can always evolve, but what I do know is what I love and the things I could wear on the daily.
Must-Haves
The Perfect Chambray Shirt – I switch off between my two chambray shirts more often than I’d care to admit. They just go with everything and are the perfect thing to throw over most outfits.
Pretty Plaid – I’ve always been a sucker for plaid, and I love a good plaid shirt all year round.
Grey Tee – My favorite color to wear would have to be grey, and a simple tee is something I would never tire of.
Graphic Print – I think it’s fun to switch things up with a graphic print tee because it adds a cool unexpected element to an otherwise more basic outfit. (For those of you who live in Houston, I got this at Brooke Feather, and I know she has a couple left!)
Leather Jacket – A leather jacket is totally essential in one’s wardrobe, and I LOVE to wear mine (except when it’s 77 degrees in January like it was yesterday!!!). Enough said.
A Great Pair of Denim – I’ve been loving more relaxed fit jeans these days, and a good worn in pair is something I could never get rid of.
Leather Track Pants – I know, you’re probably sick of me talking about these, but they are really one of my favorite things in my closet! #obsessed (For those of you who live in Houston, I got mine at Cakewalk Style!)
Short Booties – I throw my short booties on with almost any outfit, and I think it’s something you need a new pair of each year.
Slip-on Sneaks – I actually live in these shoes. Such a good price from Target, and I barely take them off.
