When it comes to makeup I keep things pretty basic. I don’t like to fuss in the morning, so yes there’s a chance you’ll see me out and about in my gym clothes more often than not (guilty!), but of course I do wear makeup most days, even if just a tiny bit.
I’m a creature of habit…with pretty much everything. If I start liking a new restaurant for lunch, I’ll pick up food from there almost daily for weeks on end until I get sick of it. And then I’ll take a little break and a few weeks later I’ll be back and getting the same exact meal I’ve gotten every single time.
And, more or less, the same goes for makeup. I have certainly tried lots of products and formulas, but I end up going back to the same ones time and time again. Not a bad thing, I guess!? I stick to a few face products, mascara, and not much else on a day to day basis. I’ll add eyeliner and eyeshadow if going ‘out on the town.’ But, day to day, I’m pretty boring! However, I do LOVE a bold lip, no matter when or where.
As the year comes to a close (crazy!), it’s time for reflection. And while my favorite beauty products of 2015 certainly aren’t ‘deep thoughts’, it’s still something fun to think about.
