Ugh, the never ending to do list. Not typically so fun, huh? Most people dread their to do lists.
So, what if I told you the one little thing you can do that will totally shift your mindset when working on said to do list?
Are you ready for it?
Instead of saying or thinking something along the lines of, “Ugh I need to do x, y, or z” say or think “I’m lucky to be able to do x, y, or z” or “I get to do x, y, or z.”
Seems simple enough, right? And truly, it is. Give it a try.
Next time you’re “dreading” something and you just want to scream from the rooftops how much you don’t want to do whatever it is, stop yourself in your tracks and think instead how you’re grateful to be able to do whatever it is. Because I can assure you, for one reason or another, there’s something to be thankful for in the scenario.
It’s kind of crazy how a simple mindset shift can be a total game changer.
