I love a good, old fashioned board game. An ideal night in would definitely consist of wine and Monopoly or Sorry. I could also play Taboo for hours on end. Lately I’ve been thinking of throwing a game night party at our apartment. We are all so busy in our day-to-day lives, and sometimes it’s just nice to be able to sit back, relax, feel a little nostalgic, and enjoy a casual, care-free night of good, old school fun.

Outfit: You want to be comfortable and casual, whether throwing the game night party or going to the game night party. A pair of boyfriend jeans that are a bit worn in would be perfect paired with a plaid button down shirt (or similar one here). You want something you’re able to move around in, but don’t ever sacrifice looking cute.

Game Night Shoes: Flats! You will likely be taking off your shoes anyway since you’ll be in the comfort of your home or someone elses. Ballet flats (similar ones here) always do the trick.

Jewelry: No need to over indulge on the jewels. A few bangles and a simple, yet chic, pair of earrings can work perfectly.

Nail Polish: Something a bit ‘glitzy’ since it is a party afterall.

Host/Hostess Gift: A bottle of wine or a dessert is always a great idea. I also recommend throwing something in that goes along with the game night theme, such as these adorable ‘Paris’ playing cards.
