I have a confession. I really don’t like our living room couch anymore. I feel awful saying that considering it’s not even a year old, but it’s the truth. I’d love to think maybe we can sell this one and get a new one when the time comes to move, but seeing as I don’t think that will happen, I’ve got to make the most of this piece of furniture. The way to spruce up a couch is, of course, with decorative pillows. Fabulous beyond fabulous decorative pillows. Well, now I’m on the hunt. I really don’t know exactly what I want, but I’ve found some beauties that I completely adore.

HAHA this is too funny! I was JUST complaining to my roommate about how I hate our pillows now. I guess you just grow out of things. At least it’s fun shopping for new ones! š

You can definitely transform a couch with some cute pillows! Or maybe try a fancy slipcover, you know, one of the ones that doesn’t look like a slipcover.

Ooh, I’ve been there- I’m currently feeling the same way about our bedroom set. It’s not exactly new, more of a my husband-had-this-before-we-moved-in-together-so-let’s-use-it type of situation. And while it’s served its purpose, I’m ready for something new!
I think throw pillows are a great way to shake things up. š Love the pillows you’ve featured here!

My daughter gave me a beautiful pillow, velvet on one side and gorgeous upholstery fabric on the other (filled with pine needles!!!) so it smells great and really supports your back. Must ask where she bought it – probably some one-of-a-kind boutique. I guess my point is: seek out something unusual and SPECIAL.
Loving these pillows. I love the silver metallic one. I want some like that because they will bring everything together in my living room.
I would love for you to stop by my blog and enter my latest giveaway. I will be picking 3 winners.

Ahh I am glad I am not alone. Well it was his couch and when I moved in I was like eeeeek, don’t love it. I heard someone get a slip cover made and I am thinking about it… As for pillows have you checked etsy and ballard designs for some options? Good luck!

Pillows are a good way to redecorate the couch without making huge changes or wasting $$$.
I hate my couches too and I cannot believe I never thought of decorating them with pillows. I have two couches and a chair with no pillows. Thank you for helping with this realization š
i’m always drawn to the pillow section in the store. always!
