I need to understand how it’s already Thanksgiving week. I know it’s trite of me to say, but where is the time going?! I can’t fathom how this year will be over so soon. I truly can’t.
I also know the holidays can be tough for many, so I’m sending love and hugs (and virtual cases of wine) to all of you.
Some of my favorite Thanksgiving memories include when we used to do it at my parents house with 25 of us around a long table, all catching up, laughing, and sometimes even crying! Crying because we had a tradition where we’d go around the table and everyone had to say what they were thankful for, and one year I vividly remember many of us getting so emotional, but emotional in a good way. It was special. Those holidays I’ll never forget.
While my Thanksgiving typically no longer includes 25 people around the table at my parents old home up north with snow (sometimes) falling outside, it’s still just as special, just in a different way.
That’s the thing about life. It doesn’t slow down and the only constant is change. Hold on to the memories, even if they’re different from years past.
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving, whether surrounded by 25 of your loved ones or if you’re on your own. Sending lots of love.
Enjoy this week’s lineup below. xx
