An item I probably own too much of is the tried and true tee. While it’s not something I wear all the time, I somehow seem to have accumulated way too many over the years. I’m not talking your HANES sleep tees (although I do love those); I’m referring to those little lightweight numbers in all sorts of colors that you throw on with a pair of skinny jeans, a scarf, and ballet flats when you are rushing out the door to run some errands. I don’t necessarily feel it’s appropriate to wear a tee out to a fancy dinner (in fact, it’s not appropriate at all), but I do think tees are here to stay. The other day I threw on a pair of dark cuffed shorts with a light colored tee, some fun jewelry, a summer scarf, strappy sandals, and it was perfect for a hot day down South.
These tees may be a bit pricier than you feel the need to spend on said piece of clothing, but the quality is amazing, they look fabulous and will last a long time.
This is another pricier option, but the quality is perfection. This brand of tees (and tanks) will withstand any wear and tear, and they come in tons of colors and prints.
I’m a big fan of the baseball tee. I think they are adorable and a bit retro. Pairing them with fantastic shorts on a summer day is cute and unexpected.
The graphic tee is a fun way to ‘edge’ up your look for the day and you can find them at really great prices.
The rocker (graphic) tee is another way to change up your everyday look. Pair one like this with shorts and funky jewelry and you instantly amped up your traditional tee look.
The oversized tee is the most comfortable and can really go with anything at all.
Burnout tees are the softest out there and extremely lightweight. They have a bit more to them than your average solid cotton tee.
