Purple has been my favorite color for as long as I can possibly remember (previously mentioned in one of my very first blog posts here). I’m not the biggest fan of the color when it comes to clothing (unless it’s deep, eggplant purple), and I haven’t owned a purple bedspread in over 12 years, but in every other regard, I’m all about this beauty of a color. I’ve been in the mood recently to throw a ‘purple soiree.’ As cheesy as it may sound, I think a table full of purple desserts would be incredible. Clearly I’ve been searching for the perfect items to include, and I’ve found some great inspiration.

Those purple macarons–yummmm! To be honest, I’ve always been kind of turned off by the color purple (I have NO idea why) but you’re totally changing my mind!

Looks yummy…..funny I’m not a big purple fashion fan but I think grape is my favorite flavor. It all looks yummy to me and the presentation is divine!
Purple is my favorite color too, which I realized in college when someone pointed out that I was wearing a purple shirt with purple shoes and a purple backpack. Luckily I don’t rock the super purple look anymore!! I’ve never thought of the color purple for desserts before, but these look delicious!!

It is my favorite too! But I like the eggplant shade the best. My old bedspread was that color. My old hairstylist was having a purple wedding. I wish I could’ve gone!!!!!
