Today is my birthday, and I’m turning 27. It’s strange because when I was 21, thinking of 27 seemed so old to me and so far away, and now that it’s here I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, and it doesn’t feel scary at all. I still can’t imagine turning thirty, but I know in three years I’ll feel comfortable with it. I’ve always been a huge birthday person, whether it’s mine or someone else’s. Matthew and I are having a joint birthday party later in the month (his birthday is two weeks after mine). Otherwise, I’ll be celebrating today and throughout the week/weekend with various meals and happy hours with family and friends, and I can’t wait. I hope you all have a great week.
