(making a bit of a trek on Saturday night to get pizza at what is apparently the best pizza place in Houston)
It’s interesting. For so many years of my life I would crave the weekends like it was nobody’s business. I would count the minutes until those 2 glorious days off, and I would be so extremely upset when Sunday night rolled around because Monday was on the horizon. Now, I’m not about to tell you I have the best job in the world and every single day is perfect (because, well, that’s obviously not true). However, I am going to say that I’ve come to a place in my life where I can honestly say I do love my job, and I look forward to waking up and doing my job most days. Of course, there are times I get frustrated, upset, and annoyed, but overall, I’m very content with my 9-5 situation (it’s never actually 9-5, but let’s go with it). Yes, I still love my weekends, but I no longer dread Sunday nights or count the seconds until it’s Friday at 5. It’s a nice feeling. And, with that, I hope you all have a great weekend!
(going to a pottery studio on Saturday afternoon, and I couldn’t be more excited (it’ll bring me back to my elementary school days))
(Matthew and I are moving in a couple months, and after seeing this image on The Everygirl yesterday, I think I can stop searching for inspiration for my new home office because this is simply perfection)
(no, I’m not going to Paris this weekend, but a girl can dream)
Ummm… I can’t concentrate on anything because that pizza looks SO amazing! Have a great weekend!!

Ok–that pizza looks AMAZING! Seriously, yum! You’ll have to let us know if it really is the best in Houston. And I feel the same way about my job–I love the weekends and miss them when they’re over, but I genuinely enjoy coming to work! It’s a nice feeling!
I’m with you on the loving your job. It can be hard to find that perfect place, but if you don’t reaallly dread going into work on a Monday, you know you have it made. You are very lucky you found it! Have a fab weekend.
