WOW wall art

I’ve mentioned before how one of my favorite things about being a blogger is collaborating with other bloggers and websites. I’ve only been blogging for 8 months now, and I’m so thankful for the opportunities I’ve received from it and the people I’ve come in contact with. When the team at Design Shuffle reached out to me, I was so excited to check out their site. I hadn’t heard of them before, but once I learned a bit, I was instantly drawn to them. In a nutshell, Design Shuffle is a social media platform for interior designers, architects, enthusiasts, and other design professionals. Their site is a community where interior designers can market their own work while drawing inspiration from others in the community as well. They are extremely passionate about design and the relationships they establish with other designers and bloggers. One of their writers has written a fabulous guest post here on from prosecco to plaid and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. It’s all about wall art, and the pictures Mari has found below are incredible.

Hi, all! Mari here, a writer for Design Shuffle, a fabulous online gathering place for interior designers and design enthusiasts. There you will find interior design inspiration and lots of decorating ideas. As part of my job I often have the opportunity to visit lovely blogs like from prosecco to plaid to share some of the great rooms I’ve discovered during my online travels.

Today’s guest post is about wall art that makes you say “wow.” I love big art that grabs my attention and holds it. Here are eight of my favorites. Please enjoy!

Wall Art

This fabulous foyer welcomes guests with lots of art. The contemporary painting in swirling neutrals is the wow piece for me.

Wall Art

Pulling together all the watery hues in this elegant space, a massive painting makes for a wow moment. The inviting velvet arm chairs are also gorgeous.

Wall Art

Contemporary art can bring color and life to just about any space, as it does in this inviting bedroom design. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to wake up each morning to this vibrant work of art?

Wall Art

A neutral living room gets a big splash of color from contemporary wall art. I love this painting that merges sunshine yellows and stormy grays. It feels like a storm is just beginning to brew.

Wall Art

Wallpaper as wow art? I’ve totally fallen for the amazing watercolor wallpapers from Black Crow Studios. This one in dramatic desert colors is one of my favorites.

Wall Art

How dramatic is this enormous contemporary piece? I love that the tiny floral arrangement mimics the lovely hues in the art. Interior design ideas are dancing in my head!

Wall Art

A movable wall in this open loft becomes art when covered top to bottom in larger than life autumn leaves.

Wall Art

Lastly, simple color-blocked art adds big drama to this living space. I love the look of the moody hues in contrast to the jewel-tone chairs. This one just might be my favorite of the day.

Which of these wall pieces made you “wow”? Let us know in the comment section below! And don’t forget to check out Design Shuffle for wall art ideas for any bedroom design!

Wow…I never thought that having artwork in a living space would change it up that much but I am wrong for sure! Perhaps I’ll invest in a nice painting and hang it in my room, the atmosphere needs livening up~

    Love your blog!
