Over 6 million subscribers on one channel, over 2 million on another channel, an upcoming book, a beauty product line, and the most fabulous British accent you ever did hear. I’m talking about none other than Zoe Sugg aka Zoella. For those of you who don’t know who I’m talking about, Zoe is a Blogger/Vlogger from the UK (Brighton to be exact), and back in 2009 she started a blog and a YouTube channel. Now that blog and those YouTube channels are extremely successful and personal favorites of mine.
I can’t remember when I came across Zoella, maybe a year or so ago, and ever since I’ve been hooked. Zoe is not only totally adorable and funny, but while watching her videos (whether a beauty tutorial, daily vlog, haul…) you truly feel like you’re just hanging out with your bestie. She’s real, she’s relatable, she’s honest, and she’s incredibly inspiring. She has opened up on her battle with anxiety and panic attacks, she shares the good moments and the not so good, and she has a hell of a time along the way. And the best part, she’s taking all those millions of subscribers along for the ride.
Last week, Zoe launched a line of beauty products known as Zoella Beauty. The line consists of a body lotion, a bath soak and shower cream, body mist, a candle, bath fizzer, and 2 cosmetics cases. While I haven’t tried the products myself, I am dying to get my hands on them because I know they are more than likely uber-amazing. They are available at Superdrug (for those of you who live in the UK) and also online at FeelUnique.com.
